Edited by James Karman, the set follows Jeffers from his early development through his rise as a major American poet, with useful editorial context throughout. The letters touch on their life in Carmel, the building of Tor House and Hawk Tower, Jeffers’ literary career, and the personal moments that shaped his work.
Bound in publisher’s cloth with dust jackets present on all three volumes and protected in mylar; boards remain clean and sharp.
It is in Fine condition. Volume One shows a very light liquid splatter to the fore edges; otherwise the set presents extremely well with clean pages and bright jackets. Fine. Item #106
